Their Baaack!!!!

This week in Football there was another great game played by the Green Bay Packers and Brett. They played the Raiders of Oakland and won this game with no difficulty. The final score was 38-7, and with this win they clinch the NFC North division. Brett was also named SI Sportsman of the Year.

On a sad note: Tenn. lost to the Chargers in overtime. Sorry Mouse.

Packers vs. Cowboys

Agonizing and sad time, The Packers were beat by the Cowboys 37-27. This is an unhappy time for packers fans everywhere and with the unfortunate injury to Brett, it is truly a difficult time. Congradulations to the Cowboys, and we will be looking forward to seeing them again 12/30/07 at Green Bay where we will welcome them for a rematch. Dallas remember to wear your long johns!

Lets not forget a huge rivalry game is on Saturday. GO UTES! I pick the Utes by 5!

Bri's Snuggle Blanket

Hey gang!
Shhh! We need to be quiet, I've kidnapped daddy's blogsite for a little while. I've had so many requests for a look at this afghan that I decided this would be a good way to show all of you. For those of you who don't what is going on, let me explain. I told Bri that I would make her an afghan for her and Rob for their wedding. When I asked how she would like it to look, she said that she liked geometric shapes...diamonds. After Mark and I designed it in the computer, I told her how many colors to pick. Now you can all see the result. This snuggle blanket, as Bri and I call it, is the size of a queen size mattress. With over 2000 ends to tie in on each side once I finished the actual crocheting, this has taken about 8 months to make. Thanks for being so patient Bri.
Let me know if you like the finished product. Love to all! Nettlebear

Its a Shut out and another Milestone!!!!!!

WOW!!!!
What a week in football! Green Bay defeated the Vikings today with a shut out, 34-0 and Brett passed for another milestone in his career, over 60,000 yds, thats correct, 60,000 yds. Hes just The Greatest!
Also, In the shut out category, the Runnin' Utes of Utah beat the Cowboys of Wyoming yesterday, 50-0!!!!
As far as my other teams I follow, they didn't do so well. :(
- Titans lost to the Jaquars 28-13
- and Vanderbilt was defeated by Kentucky in a close game 20-27.

As far as the Family goes, All is going ok as far as I know.

Taquito's?

Okay all of you out there keeping an eye on our blog, especially that sexy stick person. Here is a pic of 'Net feeding one of her babies. As you can see, Zeus loves Taquito's!!!! Yes I know this is wrong, but the outcome, usually in the middle of the night, can actually kill the un-dead.
At least when I feed the babies, yogurt and shakes they don't have any deadly results.
By the way, as my screen names hints at, I watch the JAZZ. Second game of the season and I am just a little bit concerned about the future. Not a very good home opener against the Rockets, losing 106-95.

Road Trip up North!

That's right! Honey, Denise and myself took a road trip up north to meet Lindsay, Brooklyn and Brady

With all good road trips, you need to stop off and get lots of goodies from the local fruit stands.

Thank goodness someone had a moving van to haul all of the fresh produce back to the big city.

WOW!!! Look what we found

Maddox, Home of the worlds finest Beef

The dinner bell rang out loud and clear, and being only human, we went inside and enjoyed a delicious meal and were able to leave without to much trouble, ain't that right Miss B?

As the Sun sets in the west, it is time to head South, back to the Big City.

Honey is loaded with 2 Binky's to make Brady's trip more pleasant.

The Road Trip up North was a Success!

NFL wk.2 - Huge Win!

Here we are in week 2 in the NFL and it just keeps getting better for the Green Bay Packers! The Packers beat the N.Y. Giants with an impressive score of 35-13. The Pack is feeling pretty good about their start of the 2007 season.

Not only did the Packers Win but Mr. Brett Farve also became The Most Winningest QB in NFL History with 149 wins. Go Brett and Go Packers!

The Titans came close but they fell short of a win against the Colts, 20-22. On a happier side, Both Utah and Vandy won their games on Saturday. Utah over UCLA; 44-6. Vandy over Ole Miss; 31-17. Utah was chose by the sports books odds to lose by 4. Oops, someone lost a lot of money on this game.

Football Update

Well another preseason game comes to an end. Green Bay lost to Jacksonville, 13-21. Disappointing lose but they showed some moves. Brett was feeling OK. Now they need to get ready for Tenn. Titans. This should be a game for books, atleast for the family. Elise is in Titan territory and yes, I am a Packer Fan. Thank goodness it is pre-season or else this game could get real nasty.

Week of ups and downs

This last week was one for the books. First you had the tragic news from southern Utah w/ the collapse of the mine, again. killing 3 rescue workers and injuring 6 more, the trapped 6 miners are still unlocated after 12 days of searching.
On a personal note, I had the Taurus repaired and all I need now is new tires. Now there is alot less vibes going on.

WOW!!! What a great time to be a Packer Fan! G.B. won again saturday 8/18, with an outstanding performance from the entire team, over the Seahawks; 48-13! I know its pre-season but they are working well as a team. Go Packers!!!

Saturday, August 11, 2007

The Pack

Well it is only the preseason of football, but the Packers are giving it an excellent effort getting ready for the regular season w/ a WIN over the Steelers; 13-9. Go Packers!

quickie

Yesterday myself & Annette made a quick trip to Payson to meet up w/ Briz and Robbie. They were in town looking for a place to move to that is closer to SLC. It did look favorable and will get answer hopefully soon. It was a Quick trip, then home again.
I am Watching intently on the rescue efforts of the 6 trapped coal miners in Huntington. This is really fascinating and I am anxious for the outcome.

Great Day

Today is just a great day. The sun is shining and I have a day off. So Just how could it get any better than that ? Well it just so happens that today I went and spent time with my mom and we went and dropped in on Brady and his new family. It was really neat ( I 'm speaking emotionally not domestically, hahaha :) ). to see Brady and the entire family. It was also really cool to find out that Honey was holding Brady for the first time. I could tell that Jarad, Linds and especially Brooklyn really are happy with their new son and brother. Thanks for a great time!

New Baby Boy

Great news! My niece Lindsay and her husband Jared had the stork deliver a very handsome baby boy! They are going to name him Brady Christopher Letzelter. Brady arrived on 8/3/07 at 6:44 am, this could be a sign of future events - No Sleeping In ! Brady weighed in at 7 lbs 6 oz. and was 17 inches in length. It is good news to hear that all that were involved are doing very well. I am looking forward to getting to see Brady in person real soon and introduce him to #4 and the G.B.Packers.
